schroedinger is a theoretical physicist who postulates that there is a paradox where two exclusive realities can exist at the same time. His theory states that if you put a cat in a shoebox (yup, this is really how he described it) and leave it there for two weeks, when you get ready to open the box the cat could be dead or the cat could be alive. Here's where the paradox comes in. Until you open the box, you won't know. So, he says, until you open the box, the cat is both dead AND alive, and when you open the box you choose a new universe or path. So, I think that's what Schroedinger's cat must look like as it comes out of the box.
