So that dumb ass Florida preacher lynched our president in effigy. This is the same guy who put American's lives in danger by threatening to burn a Quaran. Once again the trees of Florida bear strange fruit.
I know that with all the Homeland Security who-ha that was going on during the Bush administration, lynching ole' Dubya in effigy would have gotten us declared "enemy combatants" and we'd have been whisked off to an unknown location without legal representation and due process. That's because the Bush doctrine is based on the principle of "If you ain't with us, yer agin us."
This president is being lynched in effigy because in the South, that's what you do with uppity niggers.
And what's more uppity than moving into the Big White House telling all us white folks what to do? Next thing you know, he'll have our women. He's trying to break down the institution of marriage because they don't have marriages. They just jump brooms. And while we know what soup the president is having for lunch every day, we all know deep down that for dinner he's eatin' fried chicken and watermelon, and a mess of greens his wife's mammy made up for him.
Maybe we should have let the South secede.
Lynchings are a thing of third world regimes who stake out the heads of their enemies to put fear into the rest of the population.
Lynchings come those who are so uncivilized they cannot await due process.
Lynchings are the children of the basest mob mentalities.
Lynching is for people who see nothing but stereotypes. And in doing that they depersonalize their enemies, make them nothing but human shaped targets.
And how a man who not only calls himself a Christian but leads other Christians can even consider lynching, well that just tells me that Satan has been investing wisely.

Let's Talk About the Last 5 Years
Hello, It's been a while since I've been here. So back in 2018, thing were going along swimmingly. I'd started two Indivisible groups and was working with several others. My book was published (on Amazon) and I was doing a disaster podcast once a month. Occassionally I'd go out to work a disaster and stuff was okay. In January of 2020 I watched as news of a new disease was popping up in China. By February, I could see it was on it's way to the US and nothing was going to stop it. So I started ordering supplies and consulted with the local school district, laying out what was coming. They didn't understand. By the time the lockdown came around, we were settled in for the long haul. We had masks, we had sanitizer, we got groceries delivered from Walmart. We had a plan. My husband quarantined after work, my daughter and grandson stopped their respective jobs (work and school) and stayed home in order to protect the elderly parents. We made it through the rough patch, I
Disaster Tales Podcast
It's been a long two years. I've been to disaster after disaster, from California to Puerto Rico. After a degree in Emergency Management, 20 years at Red Cross and 20 at FEMA, I think it's reasonable to say I'm now an expert. And I love talking about disasters!
So, I'm getting together with some other like-minded disaster enthusiasts and we're putting together a podcast. We're going to cover all kinds of disasters from Fukishima to Katrina to the Eruption of Vesuvius at Pompeii. Each co-host chooses a subject and we spend time going over it with our own personal experiences and insights into the event. Co-Hosts are people with disaster
The Razor's Edge
This is in response to women who did not attend the Women's March (which is their right) and begrudge those who did:
For almost sixty years I have either been or worked to assist people (which includes women) who are living on the razor’s edge of poverty. I see it all the time. There is a subculture in the United States of people who are one illness, one rent payment, one plant closing and/or one disaster away from ending up on the street. The majority of them are women. Nearly all of them are Americans. They work hard for minimum wage or less, they can’t keep enough money to open a bank account, they barter work and goods for st
